stale decor

the room was absolutely lesser than depicted, feeling very jail cell like. Oddly, no one seemed to care about my freezing cold stay, I mean how hard can it be to allow guests some comfort? Just couldn't recommend a place that doesn't seem to prioritize special treatment. What a shame, almost left a good review but just couldn't.

The location is great for a quick layover. Check-in was super fast, and I was in my room within 10 minutes. The room was clean, with a nice hot shower and a mini fridge. Being close to the MRT made getting around easy. ✈️

Adequate accommodations for a budget traveler.

My experience at Hotel 81 Changi was far from satisfactory. The room was rudimentary, and the bathroom had a persistent odor that made it less than comfortable. Despite being a budget hotel, I expected basic cleanliness, but there were insects present, which added to my discomfort during the stay.

The place is a simple 6-story budget hotel, just a short walk from Kembangan MRT. My room was on the 5th floor – super quiet and clean. Loved having a bathtub to relax after a long travel day! Only hiccup was the wifi. it was kinda slow for streaming. Tons of halal food options nearby, which was awesome!

we had a pleasant one-night stay at the 81. it was just a 15-minute cab ride from the airport, and check-in was warm and efficient. our superior double room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, complete with a small fridge and good shower. plus, the hot water was a lifesaver after our travels!
